  I truly appreciated the attention to detail the Wylie Funeral Home gave in taking care of my beloved mother. Although she had been very sick, she did not look like it. The comforting way Albert and Charlene Wylie walked me through the process of preparing for the viewing and funeral made a difficult task proceed smoothly. The facility is beautiful, the harpist added to the ambience with her richly melodic music, and the staff goes out of their way to be sure you are well taken care of. They come highly recommended.

  My first contact with Wylie Funeral Home was 3 years ago when they were entrusted with my mother-in-law. Not only was I impressed with the care, concern, and comfort they extended to her and the family, but when we saw her, she looked 10-15 years younger and was beautiful. She had been ill several times over the years and her illnesses had taken their toll on her. But you would never know. They helped the family through each step of the process. As someone else mentioned, the harpist was beautiful and added a calming touch to the atmosphere. On 1/31/17, I had to call on them for my own mother. Although her desire was to be cremated and this was the only service I needed from them, they handled her remains as if she was one of their family. Had our family planned for services and burial in Maryland I would have entrusted everything to them. As an added bonus, all their staff members are very patient and kind. I'd refer Wylie Funeral Home anytime to anyone.
